From DUMPSTER Diving to $3.4 BILLION - The Key Ingredient to Sharran Srivatsaa's Success

This week, we had the good fortune of sitting down with Sharran Srivatsaa, a serial entrepreneur, sought after keynote speaker, and a respected thought-leadership resource for publications such as the Wall Street Journal, SUCCESS magazine, Huffington Post and Forbes. While this conversation was jam packed, I wanted to share my biggest takeaway with you. It may seem simple but if executed correctly, will help you achieve all of your goals!

Here is my favorite takeaway from our conversation with Sharran:

It seems so simple yet we get distracted so easily nowadays!

There always seems to be an “easier” way to succeed or make money.

One day, it’s flipping real estate, the next it’s trading in the stock market, the next it's flipping baseball cards...

We end up having too many goals and not enough focus.

Thus, we end up dabbling in so many things and not really becoming the master of anything.

And by not fully committing to our ideas, we don’t give them the time and energy required to succeed.

As Sharran says, “you don’t need to figure out the next 20 years of your life. You don't need to figure out who you want to be but I'm a big fan of figuring out what the next big bone is. Like, what's the big bone you want to gnaw on? If I can give you one bone to chew on, not 20, for 3-5 years, where you can create some mastery, where you can go in depth, where you can create some nuances around it, what is it? And if you don't know it, we are on a mad search for that! Because once you get the depth into one thing, it's very easy to get the depth into the next thing..."

What are your thoughts on this?

Do you feel that our lack of focus leads to us not achieving our goals at all? Let me know in the comments!👇
