After a 7 year stint at AOL, and feeling burnt out, she decided to take a few years off to prioritize her family & health. 👩👧👧
“I wanted to do something that made a difference. While I was doing that, I was also trying to get healthy. I had some extra weight on me and for the first time in my life I had developed terrible adult acne and my energy levels were down.” 😞
After realizing that Diet Coke was the culprit, she eliminated it from her diet. 🗑
But plain water was just too boring. 🥱
So, she sliced up some fruit and threw it in the pitcher. 🍉
After just 2 weeks, she dropped 24 pounds & her skin cleared up. ☀️
Hint was born. 🌱
16 years, and many near-death experiences later, Hint is a $150 million brand. 🚀
Kara’s advice to aspiring entrepreneurs❓
1) Find out what it is you value. 🔝
2) Find a problem you’re extremely curious to solve. 🕵️♀️
3) Be undaunted! Don’t let anyone crush your dreams! 😏
